Calculator data — stays in your browser

The numbers you enter into Taxloupe calculators — income, filing status, deductions, or any other figures — are processed entirely within your browser using JavaScript. None of this data is transmitted to our servers, stored in a database, or shared with any third party.

This is a deliberate design choice, not a limitation. There is no account system, no session storage on our end, and no logging of calculator inputs. When you close the tab, nothing you entered is retained anywhere outside your device.

Analytics

We use web analytics to understand which calculators are being used and how the site performs — for example, page views, approximate geographic region, and browser type. This data is aggregated and does not identify individual users.

Analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) may set cookies on your device to track sessions. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising

Taxloupe displays advertisements served by Google AdSense and its advertising partners. These networks may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to serve ads personalized to your interests, based on your activity on this and other websites.

Calculators link to official tax authority websites (IRS, ATO, HMRC) and other reference sources. These external sites operate under their own privacy policies, which we do not control.
